The location is great, the check-in with no problems, but there were 3 things that let me avoid booking this flat again: 1) the bed is super noise that every single movement causes a sort of “crack” 2) the restroom is split in 2 rooms: the toilette is inside a closet and shower + washbasin inside a room so small you can’t close the door behind you 3) even with double glasses the flat is very noisy I think it should be more fair for clients if the host would show pictures of all the rooms.

I have been living in the city for 15 years, which means I have moved four times. Finding an apartment in NYC can be a nightmare, and Lior made the process much easier for me. He found me exactly what I needed, on budget, and in a timely manner. He is the best agent I have ever worked with. I have since recommended him to a number of friends, and they have all said the same thing. The best in the industry. Great & professional! Highly recommended.

I do not have one negative thing to say about Lior, he’s knowledgeable, he can convey seemingly meaningless jargon into words I can understand 🙂 and he is super helpful. Funny too. Thank you Lior for everything you have helped me with. I cant stress it enough, Lior is the man with the plan (so much so that I took the the time to write this).

Liz was helpful the apartment was nice and can sleep 4 well. The location is as good as it says it is, cant imagine an easier spot to get around all the tourist destinations of NYC. The charge Liz states does not include tax, so watch out for this, otherwise the only other problem was that the internet didnt work which can be quite important when you are from another country. all in all loved that place would consider staying there again, thanks for having us

Liz was a great host, very good communication and the flat was perfect. The location was super central as everything is in walking distance and the flat fit a group of five easily. Clean (extra) sheets, towels etc. were provided. I would definitely come again!

I had a pleasant stay at Liz’s flat – location is great – easy walk to NYU and Union Square, and many other places/things of interest. Being at the back of the building, the flat was pretty quiet. The bed was very comfortable. Overall the place was quite clean. I would stay here again if I were passing through NYC.

We rented this apartment for a weekend getaway for six people and it accommodated us perfectly. The location is great! It’s just a short walk to the subway and near many restaurants, bars, and stores. Liz was a fantastic hostess and made sure that everything we needed was there for us. Liz was great! we arrived 1 hour earlier to the apartment and it was clean and ready for us. it was easy to reach Liz when ever we needed her. the apartment was clean and everything was as described! we really enjoyed our time there. there is a bus stop right in front of the apartment and a metro station 3 streets near to it. everything was as described, the apartment was always warm, and we always had hot water. great apartment, great location. great host! (Liz even allowed us to do a late checkout). great time in NY. thanks.

We had a good communication with Liz before arriving and she was very helpful. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, the bed was incredibly comfortable. The location was good and we could walk over Manhattan in both directions. It was quite noisy from the street and people next door but we were not there to sleep. I would recommend Liz any day

Liz was an excellent host. We had an amazing time and loved the apartment! It’s location is perfect, in close walking distance to the 6 train and very accessible to taxi and bus line. The living arrangements were quite spacious, with a large secluded bedroom and a comfortable futon couch. It was incredible clean and Liz was very responsive when we asked about additional sheets. The bathroom and shower are two small closets/rooms but that was of no issue. It’s a first floor walk-up with a nice view of 2nd Ave and windows that can let in the city noise if you’d prefer. Wonderful stay, we want to come back!

PROS: Liz was always responsive to every email and text within minutes. The place was clean and the living room reasonable sized. CONS: Very noisy so that even ear plugs didn’t work. Two closets were converted to be a shower in one and toilet in another and were ridiculously small. You couldn’t even stand outside of the shower and a step down into the doorway was unsafe. Unfortunately the CONS outweighed the PROS. Take home message- I would not stay again.

The appartment was excellent. The photos and the description was very accurate. It is Location Location Location, we used the subway just once. Everything was on walking distance and you really can feel the city that way. We were 5 people and the air mattress was really comfortable. The only thing was that the bathroom was small but still the aprartment is very well equiped and we enjoy our stay.

Great time at Liz’ ! + Liz is very swift to answer. + Good location: supermarket nearby, bus stop just downstairs & 5 min walk to get to the subway. + Well equipped for cooking + Enough space for 4 – …can be however tricky for 6 people with luggages… – Weird smell at ground & 1st floor of the building – Quite noisy: not only traffic (but meh… It’s NYC !), but also people next door (or above, I couldn’t locate exactly…) Liz is not very helpful when it comes to jazz music … but we found a good place nearby on Yelp anyways !

We had a great stay at this apartment. Can’t beat the location – it’s close to everything! One important thing which we found very important – although the place is in the middle of everything, it’s super quite – the good night sleep is guaranteed:) would definitely recommend this place to my friends!

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Although small, it is cosy enough for two people to stay for a week comfortably. It was fully equipped to anything we needed during our stay. The bed was too soft for our liking and the bedroom was noisy due to being on a first floor in a busy road, but nothing some earplugs can’t fix. It is located to a walking distance of many amenities and two metro stations.

Liz was a wonderfully accommodating host. She was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had even though she was on vacation during our stay! The apartment was spacious and comfortable and in such an amazing location. It was a great experience all around!

We had a great stay in this apartment. It was a convenient location. Liz was so efficient with communicating back and forth. We took a red eye flight into NYC and arrived at 8:30am, we were unable to check in until 2pm but Liz was helpful and suggested ways to find a place to store our luggage for a few hours. The space in the apartment was good for NYC standards. It was really nice to have a kitchen. Like other reviews say, this apartment is located on a busy intersection so if your wanting to sleep in late into the morning you must be okay to sleep through traffic noises. It is very close to the famous Gramercy Park and we often walked past the park and the neighbourhood to and from the subway line. The amenities close to this rental are great, a market across the street, pub and restaurants below. Very close to transit. The only thing I noticed was it was obvious that other guests were maybe a little rough with their luggage against the walls, you can see there are places in the apartment that need new paint where luggage was handled. Other than that the apartment was clean, cozy, and perfect for a 5 night stay in the city!

Host response was always extremely fast, positive and kind. Location is very good, relatively close to all attractions. Apartment was clean. Enough linens and towels. A little bit small for family with 3 kids, but OK to sleep in: most of the time we were traveling outside. Some repairs, especially bathroom and curtains, will make the apartment much more pleasant. Make sense to replace sofa-bed – the mattress on it is very old, have to put thick blankets to slip on it.

The neighborhood was wonderful. Prime location. The apartment is a great size, very comfortable. Liz was very accommodating with check in.

We had a great 3-day NY experience .. and Liz’ place served as the perfect launching pad for our long days of exploration of the Big Apple. The place is clean, comfortable for 4 of us and served its purpose perfectly: A place to shower, charge our devices, have a light breakfast before a long day on the City .. and to return to each night to crash and prepare for the next day. The street/neighborhood in front of the apt is busy and not a place you would spend a lot of time — More like a location to come-and-go (In terms of distance – its perfect to get us to/from Battery Park – Grand Central – Times Sq – The Met/Central Park – High Line – Brooklyn (Hint: Check out Fette Sau in Brooklyn… best BBQ on the East). Some tips: -Morton Supermarket is on the corner outside the apt. Perfect place to save big money by pick up breakfast and lunch food for the day; -Apt is a short walk to the Subway green line (Hint: download a subway map before you arrive and get familiar with the difference between ‘Local’ and ‘Express’ lines — It took us a ride or two to figure out that only the 6-green “local” line stops at the closest subway station .. and that the 4/5-green express lines stop at stations that are a further walk away. -Warning; Wear your walking shoes!! There are so many great neighborhoods that you’ll miss if you cab-it or subway-it. For urban hiking, the place was perfect! -The shower valves are backwards: Hot is on the right side! (Sounds trivial – but it’ll save time standing there wondering why the shower won’t heat up!) – SuperShuttle to airport worked great. Make sure you stage all your bags to the curb, though. The street (like all NY streets) is busy with a bus station in front of apt. You gotta be quick in unloading/loading. All in all – great experience. Thanks Liz!

As promised, the apartment was in a great neighborhood. It was very easy to get around the entire city from here. It was clean. We had plenty of room. It was a little noisy the first night, but we got used to it. The AC helped create white noise to block it out. Liz made sure we were taken care of and that we had everything that we needed. The bathroom was small, but it served its purpose.

The stay was excellent! It was very clean and well maintained. The location was great for getting around the city. It is close to the Subway line and right outside was a bus stop. The only problem was the washroom and shower were both very small. Liz was a great host and I would definitely stay there again.

This place is perfect in Manhattan, everything is really close : subway, food market, Madison Square… Just enough for 6 young people (just one bedroom) but it is just to sleep Thanks to Liz, she is really Nice and helpfull!

Location is great for exploring both uptown and downtown Manhattan! There are subway stations some blocks away and a bus stop in front of the apartment. There are also lots of supermarkets and restaurants around. The area can get a bit noisy at times with all the traffic but it’s bearable. We would definitely stay here again! Liz replied promptly to all our questions!

O bairro era normal, não muito longe do que queríamos ver, e com o que precisávamos a curta distancia, tanto transportes como lojas. O apartamento era mais ou menos como descrito, talvez um bocado mais velho e usado. A anfitriã de principio foi simpática mas quando precisamos dela não apareceu! O apartamento estava um pouco sujo, os lençóis das camas não estavam limpos, as fronhas das almofadas não se tiravam pelo que dormimos com a cabeça em fronhas que outros tinham usado, a cozinha era muito suja, tendo nos tido a visita de um rato, e de baratas!! Quando nos queixamos a Liz por mail, ela não apareceu, nem para poder-mos falar sobre o caso durante o check out. Uma anfitriã para esquecer e não recomendar!!

Liz’s apartment was great for two people. Fabulous location, clean, and bright.

We were very pleased with the apartment – very clean and nice decoration with everything you need to relax after a day of visiting the city. Although the apartment is not very big it was absolutely sufficient for our )2 persons) one week stay. We really enjoyed our week and felt nearly “homelike”. And since the apartment is between upper and lower Manhatten it’s quite good situated to do visits in both directions. Moreover Liz told us right from the beginning that if there was anything she would be available al the time, living in the same building. Only fly in the ointment: the bathroom was very small (2sqm) – just enough room to take you shower in the shower but to get changed you have to step out. But I think that’s due to NY circumstances and once you got used to it it was ok. And for light sleepers: with the air-condition it’s like have the window open so better prepare earplugs. All in all we had a great week. Thanks Liz for your nice apartment!

Liz a été tout à fait charmante et disponible. Le logement est très bien situé dans un quartier commerçant et avec les transports à proximité (bus en bas de l’immeuble et ligne 6 du métro). Nous avons pu ainsi visiter tout Manhattan et même aller à la plage en métro! le restaurant au coin de la rue (Orion) est très pratique pour les petits déjeuners. Un petit coup de rénovation dans la salle de bains rendrait le séjour encore plus agréable.

The apartment was in a great location and Liz and Lior were very responsive and helpful! Everything was great – the only thing was the bathroom was a little weird with the toilet being in a different room than the shower/sink but they were right next to each other so it wasn’t a huge issue. Shower is a little small. Other than that it was great!

New Yorkers are wonderful! Liz was kind and helpful. This place is situated in the perfect location, central to everything we wanted to see during our week stay. Had a great time and will return soon!

I stayed at Liz’s apartment for a two week period and thoroughly enjoyed it, Liz was a fantastic host and was easily contactable if we ever had any query, she would also check in regularly with us to see if we needed anything during our visit. The location is also fantastic, short 5 minute walk to the closest subway and within walking distance to shops eateries etc.. overall i had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this property to friends and family. Liz has been extremely helpful and responsive while we were staying in her flat. Her place is nice and comfortable. It is small but it is very well located. For us (a family of 4), an extra wardrobe would have been nice but apart from that, we have had a very pleasant stay and Liz has done her best to make our holiday a success.
