Liz was very welcoming and fixed the internet and answered questions ASAP. Apartment furniture needs a little updating which would make a difference to the stay!

El departamento esta muy bien ubicado, con acceso a transporte publico, y el anfitrion se comunico con nosotros cuando lo requerimos. Los servicios de WiFi, TV y aire acondicionado funcionaron correctamente, asi como el acceso general al departamento. Desafortunadamente no logramos ubicar el sofa cama y el colchon inflable al mismo tiempo en la sala, ya que el colchon inflable es muy grande. Por otra parte, las cortinas son diferentes a las mostradas en imagenes (no se encontraron las cortinas de tela y las blinds restantes permitieron el paso de bastante luz por la mañana en verano). En general, y salvo por estas dificultades, este departamento resulto adecuado para nuestra visita.

I had a great stay at Liz’s place. I was in NY for business and just needed a place to sleep and shower. I had a couple of friends visiting and they slept for 2 nights on the couch/bed in the living room. Liz was very kind and very reactive for all questions I had. The apartment’s location is great! The apartment is pretty large (by NY standards). The furniture is no luxury but overall the apartment feels cozy. I would recommend this apartment to anyone visiting NY. Thank you Liz!

Liz was a nice host and even though her apartment is small but it has almost everything inside except the wash machine and the dryer.

Liz is a great host. She was flexible in coordinating check in and check out, very attentive, easy to communicate with while respecting our privacy. The apt is simple, clean, quiet, save and great value for the money.

The apartment was not bad but was old and small. The street is very noisy and lots of light gets into the living room, so it’s very hard for the people that use the couch and inflatable mattress to sleep in the mornings. Another downside if you need to use both the living room couch and the mattress simultaneously, is that you’ll have to move all furniture for them to fit. It’s all very tight. Bathroom is also small and uncomfortable. In general Liz was very responsive but the gas problem was never solved. She paid for our last day’s breakfast, but the truth is that we had to eat in restaurants many time instead of being able to cook.

Liz was both incredibly helpful and at the same time un intrusive, so perfect!!! she monitored my flight in and it was very easy getting and leaving the keys. The location is perfect! Having water dispenser was very nice. place was adorable!!

Parfait! Tout était parfait. Liz est gentille, serviable et accueillante. C’était ma première expérience Airbnb et elle m’a donné de multiples informations au sujet des alentours de l’appartement, des arrangements et du stationnement. L’appartement était propre, spacieux, accueillant et très bien situé. Nous sommes sortis en ville tous les soirs lors de notre séjour et nous avons facilement pu rentrer à l’appartement en marchant. De plus, sous l’appartement se trouve un restaurant qui se nomme Marco’s tapas bar. Dès notre arrivé nous avons laissés nos bagages et avons pu aller boire du vin, manger d’excellentes pizzas, sans même apporter de parapluie (C’est littéralement la porte à côté). Il y a Wi-fi dans l’appartement. Nous étions six personnes et nous avons tous eu l’espace nécessaire pour dormir confortablement. Par la suite nous pouvions marcher partout dans Manhattan et explorer la ville. L’emplacement de l’appartement est tout simplement parfait, à mi-chemin entre Time Square et Soho. L’édifice est vraiment tranquille et silencieux, nous n’avons pas entendu un seul bruit de la part des voisins lors de notre séjour. Franchement, c’était une expérience mémorable, à très bon prix et Liz est vraiment une personne source géniale! Vous vous sentirez comme chez vous! Je vous le recommande fortement.

The location was great: just five minutes walking from the subway and a supermarket across the road. I would suggest you to rent this place if you are 4 people or less, when you inflate the third bed you cannot move around the living room, and there are only 4 chair. If you are very demanding about cleanness this is not the place for you.

El anfitrión logro que nos sientesemos como en casa. El apartamento esta muy bien ubicado, a 3 cuadras del metro con el que se puede hacer conexiones a cualquier lugar de Manhattan. Liz siempre estuvo dispuesta a colaborar en lo que le pedimos. 5 personas estuvieron comodas, y el apartamento es muy completo. Como punto negativo, la cocina tenia problemas, por lo que cocinar a veces resulto complicado.

Great communication. Amazing location. Sofa has changed from photos. Not as comfy for watching TV. But you’re in New York so shouldn’t be watching TV! You can not control the heating so one night was very very warm but there is a fan to help with sleeping. It’s also noisy but that’s exactly what you expect with the location. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Nice easy stay with everything well organized. The apartment is small, but it is New York, so to be expected. We particularly appreciated how quiet it was, no street noise at all as it is facing away from the street.

This is a very nice, functional apartment near NYU and the VA. Surprisingly quiet for such a main street, it has a wonderful bed, very well-stocked little kitchen, and a beautiful television set-up. Definitely recommend!

Liz is great, the apartment is small but cozy, we had a great time there!

The location was excellent and Liz was responsive to our requests. However the apartment was a bit rundown and the beds were uncomfortable. The wifi/internet did not work.

Listing was accurate, key exchange was no problem, neighborhood was great and very convenient to everywhere.

Although we didn’t meet Liz, we were made to feel welcome at this apartment. On the whole this was a positive first time experience using Airbnb. The photo on the site however gives the impression that this apartment is larger than what it actually is. Also the site stated it can accommodate 6 people. We were a party of 5 adults and honestly felt that 4 maximum people for a comfortable experience here.

Liz was a great host and very attentive to anything we needed. I would mention though the couch in the pictures is not the couch anymore and has been replaced with a very uncomfortable couch. I did book this property because it has a sofa bed and I didn’t want an air mattress but unfortunately the new couch isn’t right as a sofa bed so the air mattress was the alternative and I guess the downfall is that we were warned about this prior to our arrival. The apartment is well located which is great.

Stayed here for the location, which was excellent for our purposes. The furniture in the photos isn’t accurate. When we stayed the room had a different layout with cheaper-looking furniture. Getting in and out was easy and Liz was friendly and very communicative. Recommended if the location and price is worth trading off style and comfort.

Good location. Easy to grab a cab and a variety of things nearby. We were a party of 6 (4 adults and two kids) which was a tight fit, but it was fair value for the price we paid. If you’re a light sleeper, you will want earplugs due to traffic noise. To be clear, the noise level was typical for most small apartments in Manhattan – it is a bustling city after all… Liz was very responsive to our needs and flexible with check-in and check-out, which was much appreciated.

We had a nice stay at Liz place. Even though we ‘ve never met her, she was very responsive, answering our questions in seconds! Se let us do an early check in and late check out which was great because our flight arrived very early and we had a late flight on the way back. I think the apt is good only for a couple. We were in 4ppl there and since it is in front of a bus stop and at 2nd ave, it is very hard to sleep with all that noise. We kind knew that, but wasn’t expecting that much. Air mattress was good though. The building is on a great location, very close to the green line subway, bus stop is in front of the building and other restaurants and bars. As mentioned in another review, the towels provided were very small and we had to buy new ones. Also we had to buy glasses because there were only two and we were a party of 4. We didn’t ask Liz if she happened to have more glasses but this is something that we don’t have to ask. She has to provide it anyway. We even asked before renting if she had full service for 4 ppl. Overall we had a nice stay, Liz is a great host and very kind. If she fixes these small issues, everything is ok.

Four of my girlfriends and I stayed at Liz’s place for a weekend! Liz was a great host in accommodating us. Everything was very easy. The place was clean and in an awesome location! I would definitely recommend staying here for a weekend trip

I was disappointed with this place, for a number of reasons. First, as soon as you enter the apartment block you are hit with a strong stench of pest-spray. There is an automatic pest spray machine that belts poison out all day – these things are only supposed to be used in ventilated spaces, and the stairwell is NOT ventilated. So the concentration of toxic fumes just gets stronger and stronger over time. It is so concentrated that it leeches into the apartment. During the first night, I awoke choking on the fumes. The only way to relieve the fumes was to open the windows – but the apartment is right over second avenue so when the window is open you get woken every ten minutes by another siren screaming down the street. You cant get a good nights sleep here – you are either woken by choking fumes or screaming sirens. Second, the host had not cleaned the bedsheets prior to my arrival – I could smell strong perfume on the bedsheets. I just hope that the prior guest did not have any contageous skin conditions! Third, the place has vermin. I only saw a couple through my week long stay, but two is far too many in my opinion. Fourth, the interior construction of the place looks great in the photos, but in reality they are poor and unlikely to be up to code. For example, the bathroom (while very tiny) lacks drainage so any water that leaks out of the shower will simply sit there. Fifth, someone kept entering the apartment while I was out during the day. I have no idea who it was as I was neither asked nor informed of its occurance. I simply noticed that things, such as the dish drainer, remote control etc, seemed to be moved around between when I left in the morning and when I returned in the afternoon. I didnt feel that my belongings were secure here. In summary, it doesnt look as nice as the photo’s, it reeks of toxic fumes, is noisy, has vermin and is not secure. All of thes things are fixable – and I am not sure why the host has not sought to fix them. Hopefully they will in the future. Finally, there were many travellers staying in this apartment block – it is almost as if the hosts are running an unofficial hotel by renting out most of the apartments in the block. So for clarity, I was in apartment 1F. Perhaps the others in the block are better.

The apartment is not large, but all of the necessities are there and the location is excellent. Be aware that this is a walkup – meaning that there are 2 flights of narrow stairs and no elevator but the apt is comfortable for a couple or a single person without being too cramped. The area is in the middle, and both Central Park uptown and the Village are easily accessible via subway from this location. Overall it was a good stay, as Liz was accommodating by letting us in early as our flight came in much earlier than expected! I would definitely use AirBnB again!

I highly recomend the real state services of Lior Lev. He far exceeded that which I hoped for in a broker in that he was available 7 days a week any hour of the day or night to walk me through the process. Lior has provided me with a terrific tenant at a good rate.

We never met our host (Liz) but she was always very prompt in replying to queries and the keys were easily obtainable on our arrival. The apartment is centrally located and well-served with bars/shops/restaurants nearby and the 6 subway only a 5/10 minute walk away. The entrance to the block seems pretty rundown and the flat itself is somewhat smaller than it appears in the pictures so I would not recommend this listing for more than 4 people. It is mostly clean though could do with a coat of paint and some updating, most notably double-glazing to the windows as the street noise is very noticeable, day and night (apparently a feature of the avenues in Manhattan), and a new shower room which was old and tired. Certain things provided within the flat were good, for example excellent wifi connection, however others were less good: towels, although plentiful, were very small, and there was, for example, no hand-soap provided. We had a great time there, and it has the potential to be an excellent flat if the problems mentioned above are fixed.

Great apartment in Gramercy Park! Really good location with heaps of restaurants and bars in walking distance. 10 min walk to the subway. Highly recommended!

Perfect location for work meetings and had everything I needed to feel at home while in NYC. Liz was responsive and had no issues getting keys. Look forward to staying here again!
